Ripley forfeits Game 3 & 4 due to using an illegal (suspended) player.
Shawn Stewart didn't serve his entire suspension before returning to the lineup.
Luckily, he did sit out Ripley's Game 2 win, so it doesn't change anything.

Can anyone confirm if the player has been suspended for the remainder of the playoffs or just the remainder of his suspension?
What suspensions and fines did Clinton receive, and are they the same as what Ripley received?

I believe Stewart is suspended for the rest of the playoffs.
Clinton received a $250 fine and GM was suspended 5 games.
Guessing punishment is more harsh for Ripley because it's playoffs.

I thought I heard Clinton was fined $500 with both the Coach and GM being suspended 5 games each and the suspended player was given 1 extra game on top of the original suspended game....I would think since it is playoffs the penalties should be higher.

Why should a suspension be more in the playoffs? A suspension should be the same no matter if its the first game of the season or game 7 of the finals. There is no rhyme or reason for the suspensions handed out in this league.

So, Ripley plays in Petrolia tonight I see. If they lose, which is quite probable, it will amount to a one game suspension? ? WOW! How is that more harsh than the Radar's suspension? If the coach and GM. return next year do they get a carry over of 4 games to match the suspension Clinton received? Or with the mentality of the W.O.A.A. League do they consider this a 17 game suspension because that is the potential number of games Ripley could have left if they all went 7 games? The suspension should be an actual 5 games (not potential games) and carried over to next season. And don't trade him to Clinton or they will receive another suspension next year. LOL.

I agree sort of. Suspending a GM seems stupid as they can still do their job behind the scene, especially in playoffs. Coach should definitely get the rest of the series OR 5 games which over is longer. Player should serve the rest of his suspension PLUS the amount of games he dressed. So an extra 2 in this case. Luckily it didn't really matter in this situation, as Petrolia took both games.
