Was at the game last night in Clinton. Agree with you on playing what the sound person did
. He is a little clueless. Played music when they were trying announce ticket winners. He has been told many time to cut back the volume but does not listen. A little brain dead. Wondered why he would play such a ridiculous piece. All Clinton fans are not like this.

All Clinton fans are not like this. crafty861 You sound like you are a Clinton fan who seems to know everything about what goes on with the sound system. Anyone who has been in Clinton who really pays attention knows that the people running the clock control the volume in the arena. The person who is doing the announcing for the tickets is someone who wonders around with a wireless mic half the time and you couldn't hear him because the volume on the mic was turned down. People complain in all arenas about music being loud. If the old people are offend by loud music that players and fans request during warm up and the then don't go out to the ice on warm ups.....players like to get pumped up for a game and music does it lets face it, it goes both ways for both teams on the ice. Funny thing is from where I was standing and watching the game last night there was a smile on Peckham's face as the song was played so if anyone was to be offended it should be Peckham not you or Ramrod. The person who plays the music has no problem being called a muffin man either and it was no disrespect towards Peckham at all.
On the finally note crafty861; I EXPECT to see you in the penalty box on March 4 by 7:30pm setting up your music to play for the players(the playlist that they want) and the fans, because it sounds like you can do a better job. Oh by the way the pay is pretty good in Clinton when you play music......you get to listen to the "fans" who like to bitch. Good luck!!!!!!!

Sorry Harley if you were offended by my remarks. Only quoted the answer given before about the volume of the sound system. You must be the person that is running it. As far as the "High paid job" a lot of us so called OLD people have paid and supported this team ever since it was first started. We are still doing these high paid jobs.

High paid jobs lol, I don't think their is much money left after some of those top end players get their pay cheques. I would love to know how much a guy like Doig is making. Any thoughts?

What do you mean, it's SrA no one gets paid or gets set up with a job to play. All those guys on Saugeen are excited to play for the love of the game, especially Theo.

I am the one who played the song ...if anyone of you want to discuss it in person I will be more then happy to discuss in person..i myself being a "larger framed" person and being called fat etc have no problem with it. Maybe the song was a little over the top but I could also hear fans singing the song up in the stands too. As for playing music while the gentleman was announcing ticket numbers I could not hear him on the mic as it was turned down too low at the request of fans too
Ramrod your right there was lots of songs that any song man could have played for the Radars player last year but from everything I seen and heard at every game from fans and players on the other teams calling this player all sorts of disgusting names on the ice and off....still to this day when this player has now been found NOT GUILTY not one person who disrespected this young man has ever apologized to him
I will personally walk up to Theo Peckham and apologize to him Friday night when I am volunteering my time to help the Radars hockey team.
There will be no more music played at the Radars games except for the warm up music for the players.

I have read that this case is going back to trial this year and that the 3 charges remain in place. You don't just go to jail for a year for nothing. However, I will wait until the case is dismissed before I say anything further about this individual. As far as the music goes, play it as loud as you want and whatever you want. It's your barn, part of the home ice advantage. How many times have people played na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye. or Hit the road jack etc. It's part of the competitive nature of the game and makes it more intense/enjoyable. Have fun with it and who care what the rest think. Maybe next time throw on I'm to sexy if you feel like apologising. I'm sure you'd get a good laugh.
