On the Squires front, a lot of changes indeed. The team will look to compete for a top 4 spot again with a group of young players coming in to help fill many vacancies. Many of the players not returning will be missed, but the show must go on. The teams strength will surely be in net once again and the added depth on defence will be an upgrade. The loss of a talented D like Ansell is hard to replace (another player linked to Radar Nation), but the team will have about 8 or 9 true d-men signed to help when players aren't available. Up front will see many changes, but the emergence of Brent Sauve in playoffs and returning Davis Boyer and Rob Vanwynsberghe will help the loss of some offensive weapons. Added to that mix is a good crew of support, so all-in-all they will ice a competitive squad once again.

The Thunder have posted two signings on their twitter page. Looks like some NCAA experience and some experience over seas in Europe - both forwards. I have no idea who they have coming back from previous years.
I would imagine with those two signings they will bring along a pal or two as well. That's usually how it goes in this league, bring one guy in and he has a friend or two that join.
Haven't seen much on other teams twitter feeds, I think most teams are keeping their hands close to their chest until opening night. Be interested to see if any Mapleton players jump to another team.
Hopes that all teams get better and this league continues to deliver high paced hockey games with great talent.
I personally think Tillsonburg will bounce back in a big way this year and get back to their winning ways.

I have heard rumblings that Petrolia has lost a lot of players.... can they be replaced ? The post on twitter said Wright and Leger hung up the skates...im probably off but wouldnt that account for 60% of their offensive numbers last year?? I have also heard Ansell walked away from them too...wonder if he will resurface somewhere this season??? Don't we all love this time of the year?? All the speculations

Any word on where some of the 81's players have landed? Seen Wright has signed with the thunder! Did Ansell land anywhere? The winterhawks, radars seem pretty tight lipped on releasing any new players!

2min. I believe Graham (Palmerston) and Ansell (PTown) have landed in Radarland. If true, that is scary. Especially if they have a lot of returning players. This might lead to a lot of high end players not getting the same work load they usually do. Again, if true, this could be really bad or if managed well, really good for Clinto. Anyone have insight on how Tavistock and Tillsonburg looked over their two exibitiong games.

Tilly has signed a few new players who look good. They must've opened up their wallet this year again and decided it's time to get back to the top.

Tilly looks improved watching both games. Tavi had the usual guys playing. Few top guys missing, did Saugeen finally get Maclean to go home?

Looks like maybe with the roster announcements of the winterhawks, radars and thunder it could be a 3 team horse race! Great to see more talent enter this league!
