The Western Jr C All Star game is scheduled for Saturday January 6, 2007, in Walkerton. There will be a Minor Midget Prospect Game between the Grey Bruce Highlanders and the Welland Tigers. This game starts at 4:30pm. The All Star Game will follow, when the Western Jr C All Stars face the Guelph Jr B Dominators, puck drops at 7:00pm. There will be a 50/50 table, as well as a Door Prize Table. Proceeds from the Door Prizes will go towards the Western Jr C League Bursary. The Hawks Nest will be open (Blue Line Club).
There will be a Special Guest in attendance for both games. Courtesy of the Hockey Hall Of Fame, the most recognized trophy in sports history. That’s right, none other than the Stanley Cup. Lord Stanley’s Cup will be on display from 4:30-11:00pm. Here is your chance to stand beside a piece of Hockey History.
Cost of admission is: Adults $6.00, Students/Seniors $5.00, Children Under 12 $3.00. This gets you into the games and to see the Stanley Cup.
