Clinton in 5 I can't imagine Saugeen getting better goaltending then Tavistock had besides game 6 and 1 period in game 2. Incredible how many breakaways the radars were stopped on. All this talk about Clintons goaltending is ridiculous, Nother was incredible at home and had a 42 save shutout in game 6. Four close games and a blow out are how I see this one going. (Have not seen Saugeen live this year, saw a few clips online though)
Petrolia in 7 Only saw Mapleton once this year and they were very underwhelming. However, they beat TIllsonburg and I thought the way they've were playing after Christmas made them the favourites in my book. 2 small rinks should be interesting, Petrolia's style fits those rinks best. Who knows
I think we had 6 legit title contenders when the playoffs started 3 weekends ago. Tavi and Tillsonburg will be upset they didn't get better match ups to start and maybe a little better commitment throughout the playoffs, but if you can't win the first one you won't win the last one either. The four teams left all deserve to be there and I believe anyone of them could be the champions in the end.

Clinton in 5 I see foolish penalties by saugeen shores, and radars taking advantage of these chances, even though can only Rely on 3 or 4 consistently. Saugeen has to shut down Clinton pp, or play smarter, but that is doubtful.
Mapleton-Minto 81's in 6 Petrolia seems a formidable opponent, if they indeed have Such a heavy forecheck,81's fleet feet should get them out of danger. 81's have 4 hardworking lines and are attuned To turning it up a couple more notches to achieve their goal. Houle might find himself, like Tommy Lee, getting sick to his stomach, whilst being barraged by bodies and pucks(his own d hemmed in) 81's speed and goaltending should prevail. It would be nice for redemption to play Clinton in finals, Since palmy has owned saugeen shores in recent years about this time.

For sure the Winterhawks can not take any foolish penalties but the Winterhawks in regular season and playoff so far have less penalties minutes than Clinton. Also they are the least penalized team left in the playoffs so far. Yes the 81s have owned the Winterhawks in the last 3 years. But last year Winterhawks were down 7 players due to injuries their first and second goalies included. They won 1 game against the 81's and lost 2 games in overtime. This year they beat the 81s in one game and lost one in overtime.

hear we go again with missing players and who cares its regular season. but if you lf your gonna use regular season 81s had a easy time with durham and saugeen had a hard time in playoffs. so winter cocks suck and Clinton will beat them. winter cocks are too old and slow. advice for them sit peckham he only hurts them. it's like a 5on4 everytime he's on and the young teams love it. so better yet play him hahaha

See what you are saying about the ten minute penalties so they are both about the same for penalties. Should be a good series.

No I get it teams are missing players, just how many teams lost 2 goalies plus 5 players in the playoffs last year. I don't know if they had a full team if it would have made any different, the 81's had a good team.

Good thing Saugeen has home ice and get to play Fridays at home. I don't think the Bruce would be too excited letting 15-20 guys off early to head to an away game I hope the live feed is going tonight this one is going to be a goody. Overweight or not Peckham is going to play some big time minutes and stop Bartliff/Doig combo. After those two the production drops. I don't see Clinton winning a game in Port simply because they can get Peckham on the ice whenever they want with last change. 5-2 Saugeen tonight

Any team in this league would love to have them. The Radars will win this series but it wont be a short one. However, I might be happier if they don't lol

Bartliff/Doig 11 goals Consitt/Salituro/salituro/jarmuth/Vick/Murphy -12 goals
Shut down two players and there goes pretty much half your production.
The party is over in Clinton. They don't have the same scoring depth that the 3 other remaining teams have.

I am assuming a lot of those goals between Bartliff and Doig were on the power play. The radars have a strong power play that will be key in this series. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight. Either way I see this series going the distance and Clinton winning game 7 in Port.

This is good. But can anybody answer this for me? Which team had the best goaltending record in the league? To have the best goaltending, you also have to be very good defensively. Also, which team had the fewest goals scored on them in the regular season? Which team spotted the defending champs a 3 goal lead and then game back and took it? I don't see anyone mentioning this. The weakness of the Radars is their road game. Both teams match up pretty evenly. It will come down to special teams, and the monster known as Penner. If he is there, Clinton can't handle him. Hawks in 6
