Rhetoric aside, the South remains the Champion of the WOAA; just who will be determined in the next 7 (or fewer) games.
By virtue of finishing 3rd, Petrolia Squires secure home ice for the Finals versus Clinton Radars for the WOAA Senior AA Finals. Curiously, it seems the South also will rule the Senior A Final as well.
Petrolia has a small rink and built for it; a workman-like, sturdy team with a solid goalie.
Clinton with large ice has speed and are the defending Champions but according to many on here suffer from soft goaltending and defense that is suspect (completely ignoring the last 8 periods of hockey versus SS)
Kudos to Saugeen Shores and Mapleton Minto for finishing on top of the WOAA but for future reference may want to consider a more stressful regular season where they play stronger teams to actually show they are capable.
Everyone at this stage of the season is beat up and injured so the team that finds a way to adapt will be the winner. Regular season aside, this should be a good series.

Hey Radcap, could you enlighten us how SS and MM are "to consider a more stressful regular season". The league sets the schedule and because of teams crying a true home and home was not set up. Another crap move by the WOAA.
This league is in trouble!

You both are a joke and so is this forum and this league. Petrolia wins this series in 3 games because Houle is the man and ptown is going to run Clinton into the parking lot. No 4th game needed

Not to sure what you are talking about but Saugeen did play Clinton and Petrolia in the regular season. If they could not have a full team to play those games what are they suppose to do?
