The two time Champ Radars are 14 and 0 this season thus far. So who breaks the streak? Do they lose a game?
I'm thinking they go 19-1 they have 6 games left vs Shallow Lake, Saugeen, Huron East, Tillsonburg, Tavistock and Lucknow. Saugeen or Tilly will spoil the streak. BUt 20 and 0 wont surprise anyone I am sure.

Who cares, you don’t hoist any trophy going 20-0 in the regular season. They are going to finish 1st and then the real season begins.

no one is touching Clinton this year. As much as you don't want to say it clipboard. Clinton wins the trophy easy peasy.

20-0 regular season, 12-0 in playoffs with 12 blowouts and hopefully they move up to sr. AAA next year.
can't imagine it's much fun for these guys to play competition that's so much lower than them and it's not good for the league to have the championship a mere formality each year.

mrbuzz: You must be out of your mind. I have not ever seen any team that is unbeatable. Playoffs are a whole new season. When you talk about moving to AAA, it is not possible unless they aquire a lot more high class players. They are doing quite well in this league, but not AAA.

like 4 of their 14 games have been remotely competitive. the rest blowouts.
there’s no possible way they lose 4 of 7 at any point, “new season” or whatever cliche you want to put out there.
it’s a formality. clinton will win easily.

It's totally do able. Clinton could compete in that league . Would they win likely not . Can they afford the travel and league fees likely not . That money needs to go to all the guys they keep bringing in and we all know that doesn't happen for free
Anyone in saugeen last night ? What is going on there , Ripley is no team to laugh at they have certainly proved that but that may have been a must win for SS .

Clinton definitely has a chance to go 32-0 on the year. Tough team to beat as they have so much depth. That being said, anyone in Petrolia on Dec 22nd would have witnessed one of the best games this season. The Squires finally showed a glimpse of what they can actually do with a full squad and played the Dars very well. Both sides had a few pieces that could be added to the mix. As a fan, I think a Squire/Radar playoff series would be fantastic. Unfortunately, this season it looks to be a 1st or 2nd round matchup instead of for the championship. So, to relate this to the topic, I believe the best bet to notch a loss on the Radars this year belongs to Petrolia.

In my opinion Clinton will go undefeated in the regular season and will drop maybe 3 games across all 3 playoff series, with Tillsonburg being the most likely candidate to cause an upset. To go undefeated through out playoffs would be very hard. Playoff hockey is just a different type of hockey, games can and will be stolen.
On a side note has anyone watched any of the 3HL Tour games? That's where Peckham is playing this year. I'm curious to what the level of play and game intensity would be like. Is it worth watching?

As a huge fan of the ACH Senior AAA Dundas Real McCoys, I've never seen our league so evenly matched. Any of the 5 teams can win on any given night.
I believe Clinton beat Whitby in a preseason match. Not sure that Whitby had its full squad that is now playing but Clinton was just as good from what I've heard.
I have no doubt that Clinton could compete at the AAA level. Also Petrolia and Tilsonburg have the market/fan base to come back in my opinion.
Any chance any teams in the WOAA AA loop would make the jump next year?
Our league needs more than five teams at this level.

on the ice, I think Clinton is the only team with the depth and drawing pool to make the jump. will always be a steady amount of players in london area.
financially, no idea. don’t know what it costs to run in ach hockey.
the north teams have no chance, only so many high end guys in owen sound to entice to play.

Clinton may have the budget to compete at that level for sure. But how many players are prepared to commit to the what would be rigorous travel schedule? Like going Clinton to Whitby through the GTA travel time has to be 3 hours each way. Seems highly doubtful despite the desire to compete for the ALLAN. Tillsonburg being closer and drawing from London lost money in a big way in that loop. And from what I hear its much more expensive to put a compensated roster together in that league now.
