The battle of the basement shows Thedford and Georgian Bay, whos better? Thedford had 1 pt and GB had 0. There has been a lot of talk around the north being better than the south, but how much better? The Dogs won a game in the play-offs and all 3 games were tight 1 goal games. Its a good debate.

It would be a great game and I think the league should pit these two off just for each team's hometown. But I think Georgian Bay would probably win a series if the two squared off. I think the North is a tougher division and that Thedford doesn't quite have the goaltending G-Bay might have.

That would be a great series and really cheap. What would a bus ride from georgian bay to thedford cost? 400 bucks. Its only about 3.5 hours long. Just crown georgian bay the best, after all they play in the mighty north. blah blah

Maybe the two teams could meet to play in an arena in the middle of both towns? Just an idea.

Well since Thedford actually won a game this year, I'd put my money on them.

Georgian Bay won a game this year on the ice. Just didn't turn out that way in the standings.
And beyond that, both teams routinely got beaten by big scores, however Georgian Bay came up with some stronger games.
I'd have to give the Rats the win, but it might be a good game or series.
