not sure this threatens woaa so much, kind of seems like they are sticking to GTHA area. saw paris and hamilton announced so far.
there’s not a lot of communities without a team or available ice time/volunteers as u head north/west.
might be worse news for the other new league. trying to start up and get new teams and this shows up in your backyard.

You are right in the sence that the teams in the nothern part of the woaa { which is most remaining teams} likely will stay in the woaa but I can certainly see a team like Petrolia so far removed from the north being enticed to join this new woshl league because of the close proximity to Alvinston and Strathroy {if Petrolia even has a team as they had a hard time getting players out for games when they last played,} as a team or perhaps individual players they might prefer to play closer to home more often. For the same reasons Milverton and Tavistock could feel the same as both those teams will feel the effect of potential players from Stratford now choosing to stay in Stratford, Tavistock isn't all that far from Paris, Some teams may like the allure of playing in a OHA affiliated league that this G league is offering. Clinton may even feel the effects if they loose players like Max Campbell and Steven Shipply who could choose to play in Strathroy where I am sure many of their friends will be playing. So you are right in the sence that I don't think that the woaa risks shutting down but I can see some teams switching leagues and certainly there is a lot more opportunity for many players to play senior hockey closer to home so in that sence I see senior hockey being watered down.
